Gold inventory tracked by gram and karat
GoldCore tracks every piece with its own barcode tag and gross, stone and net weights, and tracks chains and bullion by the gram. Every movement — receiving, sale, buyback, void, adjustment — is written to a gram ledger per karat, so the shop reconciles grams every day.

One tag per piece, one ledger per karat
Add a piece with its photos, karat, weights and making charge; print a tag on any label printer. Bulk items such as chain rolls are sold by the gram and their remaining weight updates automatically.
Daily gram reconciliation
Reserved pieces stay on hand until handover, and a sold or reserved piece can't be edited by mistake. Read our guide to managing a gold shop by the gram.
Stock value at today's price
The reports show the metal value and the retail value (with making charge) of everything in stock at today's gram price.
Frequently asked questions
Can I read weights from my digital scale?
Yes — a USB/serial scale can fill the weight directly in Chrome or Edge.
How are chains sold by the gram handled?
Add them as a 'sold by gram' item; the cashier enters or weighs the length sold and the remaining grams update.
What is gram reconciliation?
A daily check per karat: opening + received + bought back − sold ± adjustments must equal closing grams. Any difference shows up the same day.
