Shop prices linked to the live gold price
GoldCore keeps one gram price per karat for the whole shop. The owner either types today's prices or turns on the automatic feed, which follows the world gold price converted to EGP plus the shop's own premium. Every change updates the POS, online store and TV price board at once and is logged.

Manual or automatic — your choice
- Manual: type the sell and buy price per gram for each karat, or set 24K and fill the rest by purity
- Automatic: world spot × exchange rate × purity + your premium, refreshed on a schedule
- Optional approval: new feed prices wait for your tap before they go live
- If a source fails, the last good price stays — prices never drop to zero
Price history and audit
Every published price is stored with who set it and when, so you can answer any customer question about yesterday's price. See today's market reference on our gold price today page.
Prices flow straight into the POS, the online store and the TV price board.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the automatic price come from?
The international gold spot price (XAU/USD) converted to EGP at the current exchange rate, multiplied by karat purity, plus the premium you set per karat.
Can I still change prices manually with the feed on?
Yes — manual prices override the feed at any time, and you can require approval before feed prices are published.
How do karats relate to each other?
21K is 87.5% gold and 18K is 75%, so their gram prices follow 24K by purity. Read the difference between 24, 21 and 18 karat.
