Reports built for how gold shops make money
GoldCore reports show what matters in a gold shop: sales, the making-charge revenue that is the real margin, old gold bought and payments by method net of change. Each shift closes with a Z-report of expected vs counted cash, and every day ends with a gram reconciliation per karat.

The numbers an owner checks every night
- Sales and making-charge revenue (counted on the day the piece is handed over)
- Old gold bought, in money and grams
- Cash, card, InstaPay, wallet — net of change, refunds and payouts
- Per-salesperson totals
- Stock value at today's gold price
Shifts and Z-reports
Each cashier opens a shift with the drawer cash and closes it by counting; GoldCore shows the expected cash and the variance, and prints a Z-report. Cash taken for a reservation or online order lands in the shift that collected it.
Gram reconciliation comes from the inventory ledger. VAT is optional — read VAT on gold and the making charge in Egypt.
Frequently asked questions
Are reports in Egypt time?
Yes — days follow the shop's time zone (Cairo by default), so a sale at 1 a.m. lands on the right day.
Can I see grams in and out per karat?
Yes, the daily gram reconciliation shows opening, received, bought back, sold, adjustments and closing grams per karat.
Does the Z-report include refunds?
Yes — deposit refunds, payouts for old gold and change given are all reflected in the expected cash.
