A POS system built for gold & jewelry shops
GoldCore POS prices every piece from its weight, today's gram price for its karat and its making charge, then adds stones, stamp fee and optional VAT. It sells, buys old gold and exchanges on one ticket, and prints a clean Arabic receipt. It is for gold and silver shops in Egypt and costs 25,000 EGP a year or 35,000 EGP once.

Scan the tag — the price is calculated for you
Every piece carries its own barcode tag with gross, stone and net weight. When the cashier scans it, GoldCore applies the live gram price of that karat and the piece's making charge (per gram, fixed, or a percentage). The 15-minute price lock means the customer pays exactly what they were quoted, even if the market moves.
Sell, buy old gold and exchange on one ticket
Customers often trade old gold for a new piece. Weigh the scrap (straight from a USB scale), pick its karat and deduction %, record the customer's national ID — the value is deducted from the new piece automatically, or paid out if it's larger. See how to calculate buyback correctly.

Frequently asked questions
Can the POS calculate the making charge per gram?
Yes. Each piece can have a making charge per gram, a fixed amount, or a percentage of the metal value. Discounts can be limited to the making charge only.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Sales and receipts continue offline and sync automatically when the connection is back, without creating duplicate sales.
Can I buy old gold from customers?
Yes — weigh it, pick the karat and deduction, capture the customer's ID, and it's paid out or deducted from a new piece on the same ticket.
Which printers does it support?
Any thermal receipt printer (USB or network), A4 printers for invoices and label printers for tags. GoldCore Desktop prints silently with correct Arabic.
