Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data GoldCore handles, why, and how it's protected. Wizzora operates GoldCore in Egypt and follows the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. For your customers' data, your shop decides how it is used and we process it on your behalf.

What we collect
- Shop owner and team: name, email, phone, password (stored only as a hash), passkeys, sign-in history.
- Shop data you enter: items, photos, prices, sales, shifts, suppliers, staff names and PINs (stored only as hashes).
- Your customers: name and phone; for old-gold purchases, the national ID — encrypted at rest (AES-256), shown masked (last 4 digits) and fully visible only to the shop owner, with every view logged.
- Online store orders: the customer's name, phone and delivery address.
- Security logs: an audit trail of logins and important actions with IP address and browser, to protect your shop.
Why we use it
Only to provide GoldCore: running your POS and store, printing, reports, backups, security and support. We don't sell data, don't use it for advertising and don't share one shop's data with another.
Who helps us run GoldCore
- Hosting on our own servers (VPS) with encrypted, access-controlled backups.
- Email delivery (account confirmation and password reset).
- Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
- Paymob — only for shops that connect their own Paymob account for card payments.
Cookies
GoldCore uses only essential cookies: your sign-in session, the counter staff session and your language choice. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. After it's closed we keep data for 90 days so it can be restored, then delete it; encrypted backups roll off within 30 days after that. A shop owner can export or erase a customer's personal data at any time from the dashboard.
Security
- HTTPS everywhere, strict browser security headers and encrypted national IDs.
- Role-based permissions, PIN lockouts, optional 2-step sign-in and a permanent audit log.
- Daily encrypted off-site backups that are tested by restoring them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Customers of a shop should contact that shop first; the shop can do it from GoldCore or ask us to help. Contact us at the email below.
